This Privacy Policy explains what information the Uplift mobile application ("Uplift", "the app", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Uplift you agree to this policy.
Uplift is a wellness and posture app. It provides posture and stretching routines, habit tracking, and an AI wellness coach. Uplift does not claim to increase your real, skeletal height and makes no medical claims (see "Health disclaimer").
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and authentication data. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email and name. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we do not store your password ourselves.
During onboarding you may provide biometric and lifestyle details — gender, date of birth (age), height, weight, parents' heights, sleep hours, and goals. This profile is stored on your device and is used to personalise the app's estimates and routines.
Important: when you choose to chat with the in‑app AI Coach, relevant profile facts (age, gender, current height, estimated potential, goal height, typical sleep) and the messages you send are transmitted to our secure cloud function and then to Google's Gemini API to generate a response. Do not share information in the coach chat you do not want processed by this AI service.

If you use any photo feature, images are processed on your device and, if you choose, saved to your device gallery. Photos are not uploaded to our servers.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third‑party advertising.

Your account profile (name, email, sign‑in provider) is stored in Cloud Firestore for as long as your account exists. Analytics and diagnostic data are retained per Firebase's default retention periods. Your on‑device profile and progress remain on your device until you delete the app or clear its data.

Data in transit is encrypted using industry‑standard TLS/HTTPS. Backend access is protected by Firebase Security Rules, Firebase App Check, and authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Uplift is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Uplift provides general wellness, posture, and lifestyle information for educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional care. Uplift does not increase real skeletal height and makes no guarantees of physical results. Consult a qualified professional before beginning any exercise or nutrition program.
Your information may be processed and stored on servers operated by Google in countries other than your own. By using Uplift you consent to this transfer and processing.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, an in‑app notice.
